CD 2623 - Supervised Laboratory 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: This course is designed for students planning to teach children under the age of six years. Students will work a minimum of 96 clock hours at the Oklahoma City Community College Child Development Center and Laboratory School. Students will provide for children’s health and safety, guide their behavior, plan and execute activities in all curriculum areas, communicate with children’s families, and interact with staff on a professional level. Students must meet pre-laboratory requirements.
Prerequisites: CD 2333 Integrated Curriculum Development I CD 2353 Child Health, Safety & Nutrition
Additional Information: In this course, preschool and infant toddler early learning guidelines will be included.
