EMS 2125 - Special Patient Populations 5 Credit Hours
Course Description: This course includes concepts of crisis intervention and techniques for interacting with patients with special challenges and needs. Topics include appropriate assessment, intervention, and interaction for OBGYN, neonatal care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients with special challenges. Upon completion, students will be able to recognize and manage the care of patients with special challenges and needs: Including labs and clinical/field shifts.
Prerequisites: EMS 2115
