EMS 2013 - Principles of Paramedicine

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
This course , Principles of Paramedicine, is intended to be offered as an intercession course. The course offers information to help prepare students for a successful transition into the paramedic program, such as the well-being of the paramedic and medical & legal issues among other topics. The Principles of Paramedicine class will provide insight and knowledge into the EMS field with an emphasis on clinical compliance as well. The course also provides shadowing opportunities for the new paramedic student.
