PSY 2003 - Introduction to Art Therapy

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
This course provides a general introduction to the history, philosophy, theory, and utilization of Art Therapy. Students will explore the creative process and visual expression of thought and emotion through experiential artwork in and outside of class, personal reflection, and group discussion. Students will review the educational steps leading to a career in art therapy.

Prerequisites:
 ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures
