PHYS 1214 - College Physics II 4 Credit Hours
Course Description: This course is a continuation of College Physics I. Students will demonstrate their understanding of concepts of electricity and magnetism, optics, relativity, and atomic and nuclear physics by (1) developing numerical and graphical descriptions of physical phenomena, (2) numberically predicting the results of physical occurrences, and (3) applying laboratory skills to analyze real situations. Numberical computations will utilize algebra and basic trigonometry where appropriate.
Prerequisites: PHYS 1114 College Physics I
