OTA 1233 - Occupational Performance 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: Through study, discussion, and classroom/laboratory activities, the student will examine the development of sensory motor, cognitive, and psychosocial skills necessary for an individuals’s occupational performance from birth through adolescence. The student will also acquire and demonstrate Occupational Therapy skills and techniques used in therapeutic intervention for selected deficits impacting occupational performane. Level I fieldwork is included in the course.
Prerequisites: OTA 1213 Movement & Therapeutic Intervn with a minimum grade of C required.
