LEIS 2132 - Care/Prevention-Athletic Inj

2 Credit Hours

Course Description:
This course is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge to assist with the prevention, recognition, and care of athletic injuries. It is a basic introduction to the field of sports medicine. The student will learn basic skills in taping and bracing. He/she will also be able to implement a prevention program for athletic injuries which will include education in exercise, flexibility and nutrition.
