HIST 2203 - Native American History 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: After analyzing events in Native American history including artifacts, social organization, recreation, art, religion, ceremonialism, history, prehistory and acculturation, the student will describe Indian cultural differences, identify trends in white-lndian relationships, explain how native cultures have influenced contemporary American culture and assess the major issues of the American Indians, past, present and future.
Prerequisites: ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures

This course is offer online during early and late spring semester, but is only offered online during early fall and in-person late fall.
