ENGL 2543 - English Literature to 1798 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: This course is a survey of English literature from the Anglo-Saxon era up to approximately 1798. Students will study representative works that shaped the literary canon and traditions in English literature, placing them in their literary, historical, philosophical, and cultural contexts. This course satisfies three credit hours of the General Education Humanities requirement for all Associate in Arts, Science, and Diversified Studies degrees.
Prerequisites: ENGL 1213 English Composition II
