DCP 2423 - Film Editing/Dgtl Effects II 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: Students will master the visual and aural forces that make the film an expressive means of communication utilizing the digital medium of the intermediate level AVID non-linear editing system. Students will demonstrate proficiency in construction of film sequences, interrelationships of the various film elements, editorial theory and practices that affect the overall aesthetics of recording storytelling. They will additionally study the arena of digital effects and various non-linear after-market effects palettes.
Prerequisites: DCP 2323 Film Editing & Digital Effects I
Additional Information: This course satisfies the computer proficiency requirement.
