CS 2573 - Oracle Database Administration

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
Students will develop the skills needed for database administration. Topics covered include software installation, the creation of new databases, database architecture, management of database files, administration of user accounts, roles, privileges and profiles, database peformance monitoring, and database backup and recovery strategies.

Prerequisites:
CS 2173  Oracle OR CS 2443  SQL Server
