CHEM 2111 - Organic Chemistry I Lab 1 Credit Hours
Course Description: Designed to accompany Organic Chemistry I lecture, this lab course emphasizes techniques used for purifying and characterizing organic compounds, including infrared spectroscopy. Writing lab reports is an integral part of the course. As part of the coursework, you may have the potential of being, to some degree, exposed to hazardous material. If you are pregnant, wear contact lenses or have other specific health concerns, you should consult your personal physician for advisement concerning your enrollment in the course.
Prerequisites: Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 2114 or completion of CHEM 2114 with a “C” or better
