ACCT 2403 - Business Tax Accounting

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
This course is designed for students who are seeking an Associate in Applied Science - Business degree.  It generally will not transfer to four-year public colleges or universities.  Students will demonstrate an understanding of business taxes by calculating business income and deductions, distinguishing between various types of business entities for tax purposes, evaluating common state and local taxes imposed on businesses, and distinguishing between employees and independent contractors, including reporting requirements.
