Oklahoma Voices Micro-Credential

The Oklahoma Voices micro-credential is an interdisciplinary experience designed for students interested in deepening their understanding of Oklahoma histories while gaining hands-on skills in museum studies. Through a combination of academic learning and practical experience, students will explore Oklahoma histories, cultures, and perspectives, and examine the role of museums in preserving, interpreting, and presenting these narratives. Earners of this micro-credential must complete Oklahoma History HIST 2103 and Museum Studies HUM 2123 with a minimum grade of “D” or higher as well as complete 30 job shadowing hours at the Oklahoma History Center (OHC) in Oklahoma City.
