JB 1133 - Media Writing

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
The student will become familiar with and proficient in the use of information gathering, interviewing, and media writing techniques common to print, broadcast, the web, and more. The student will demonstrate mastery in AP Style and media writing techniques by writing news stories, features, human interest stories, press releases, and photo cutlines

Prerequisites:
ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures

Additional Information:
This course satisfies the computer proficiency requirement.
