POLSC 2623 - Intro to Political Theory

3 Credit Hours

Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the history of political thought. We will study some of the most significant works in Western political theory. These works raise critical questions about human nature, individual rights, the source of government legitimacy, the conditions for legitimate revolution as well as the meaning of political ideas such as equality, justice, and liberty.

Prerequisites:
POLSC 1113

This course is only offered during the Spring semester and as an online option during the Summer semester.
