HIST 1713 - Survey of World Civ to 1500 Ce

Course Description:
After an introduction to the general roots of human civilization, students will survey the development of the major civilizations of Mesoamerica, Africa, Asia, And Europe to 1500 C.E. After studying these major civilizations in a compartive frmework, students will be able to identify and explain both common aspects of human development and dissimilarities among the particular civilizations of the pre-modern world.

Prerequisites:
ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures
