HIST 1623 - Modern Western Civilization 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: After surveying the civilization of Early Modern Europe, students will explore the following topics: the Enlightenment, French Revolution, Industrial Revolution, nation building in nineteenth and twentieth century Europe, and the origins and outcomes of the First and Second World Wars in Europe.
Prerequisites: ENGL 0203, adequate placement score, or by meeting determined placement measures
