Participants will learn essential skills to perform work as an entry-level carpenter for the film industry, including learning how to operate tools safely, proper set construction etiquette, and team work and collaboration across film departments.

Minimum requirement

Program requirements

  • Students will successfully complete an eight hour, five day a week, three week course that will prepare them to undertake construction work on a film production. This will be a hands-on course that will cover issues such as tool operation and safety, set construction etiquette, team work, and collaboration across film departments.
