BHS 1113 - Introduction to Behavioral Health Sciences 3 Credit Hours
Course Description: This course introduces and explores the human services field as a profession. Topics include historical perspectives, major theoretical and treatment approaches, personal and professional characteristics, and the role of community support human service practitioners in various agencies and specific areas of human services employment. Students begin the process of self-awareness and growth in relation to helping others.
